CFTC positioning data for the week ending 14 September showed a substantial increase of GBP longs after the hawkish comments of BoE. The net positions advanced by 30k due to contributions from growing long and falling short positions. Gold's net positions climbed marginally and remains bullish. JPY net positions increased by 4K and this coincided with the recent correction in JPY. AUD still has an extremely bearish net positioning that decreased further by 13K contacts due to sharply falling longs.
